This dish is delicious and makes the best leftovers. We enjoy this for dinner and put the leftovers in small bowls to grab for lunches throughout the week.
- Chicken
- 4 Chicken Breasts cut into bite sized pieces
- Mix 2 Tbsp Cornstarch & 2 Tbsp Water
- Combine liquid and chicken in a large skillet or grill pan
- Cook on medium heat until chicken is cooked thoroughly and browned
- Season with Black Pepper and Sesame Seeds
- Set chicken aside
- Sauce
- Mix ingredients ↓ & set aside
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp Sesame Seed Oil
- 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 2 Cloves Fresh Minced Garlic
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- White or Brown Rice
- Cook 1.5 Cups of Rice
- Cook in Chicken, Beef, or Vegetable Broth for more flavor
- Set aside
- In a large saute pan combine ingredients ↓
- 1 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 3 Tbsp Water
- Broccoli (1 head chopped)
- 1 Carrot chopped
- 1 Can Water-chestnuts
- 1/2 Sweet Onion chopped
- Bring to high heat
- Cover
- Cook for 3 minutes
- Add Chicken, Rice, and Sauce
- Stir everything together
- Lower heat to medium
- Cook for 4 minutes covered
