We spend most of our summer in the water. My husband and I have always loved to travel and be on adventures, and that has not changed since having children. We are blessed with four little ones, and they all share our love of vacationing. We also love to play while we are home. We have fun in the pool, the sprinkler, and at the splash pad.
I have been able to breastfeed all four of my babies, and I have found ways to make any swimsuit work. If it is low cut I just move it out of the way. If it ties at the neck I just untie and pull the top down. But something I learned the hard way is that if my suit is easy enough to get a boob out to breastfeed, it is also super easy for a baby or toddler to pull my suit down quickly and unexpectedly. Listen, I don’t cover up when I feed my babies, and I don’t get embarrassed if someone sees me feeding. But I turn beet red when I am exposed with no warning! And I wish I could say it has only happened once, but that would be a lie.
My favorite thing about the Latched Mama Nursing Swim Top is that the neck is high enough to eliminate surprises. There are snaps at each shoulder that pull down to make breastfeeding easy. The design makes feeding discreet. It is easy to make it look like you are just holding your baby in a cradle position. I wish I had this swim top starting my first summer of motherhood. I tested it out on the paddle board, in the boat, and while tubing (not a single nip slip)! I love that it works so well with my active lifestyle and that it makes taking baby to the water even easier.
Enjoy your time in the water! And enjoy your baby!

Megan

I am in love with Pura Vida Bracelets. They are comfortable, easy to wear, and they hold up well with all the crazy things that come with parenting.
We are all about reusable swim diapers. They are better for our budget and the environment. Plus, I find it easier to travel with a couple of diapers rather than a big pack of disposable diapers.
